1st grade is finished! Here she is at the beginning of the year. Nervous and excited, long hair, a full mouth of baby teeth, fresh new clothes and a spotless clean backpack.
And today, ready to move on to 2nd grade, happy, confident, toothless grin and a broken arm.Breckyn's teacher wrote a poem for her:
Breckyn is an artist
One of the most creative I have ever seen
She loves to draw and paint for me
And her desk is always clean!
She creates imaginative stories
With characters and plot
Watching her smile and read her work
Is something I'll miss a lot.

We decided to celebrate by starting a new tradition for the last day of school: ICE CREAM for dinner! Why not?!
Now for the summer plans.. I've been inspired by this post I was lead to somehow.

We'll be working on our version this weekend. I can't wait!!

I love the summer list! Such a cool idea, there are so many fun things and I love the idea of seeing them all and marking it off on the way (with some picture memories to boot!)
